Zoo de Beauval
Situated at 75 km to the east of Tours, Beauval is the biggest zoo in France. ZooParc de Beauval is home to a large diversity of animals, with nearly 6,000 animals including two giant pandas, found nowhere else in France!
The ZooParc can be accessed by road or by train.
Situated at 100 km to the west of Tours, accessible by car or train, this zoo is located in a troglodyte setting, in a sedimentary rock quarry.

La réserve de la Haute Touche
This reserve, which is part of the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle de Paris, is situated 85 km to the south of Tours, and is accessible by car. The animals, some of them very rare, are kept in very large enclosures. This reserve is involved in many conservation programs aiming to preserve endangered species.
L’aquarium de Touraine
Situated at only 20 minutes from Tours by car, this is the biggest inland aquarium in Europe. You will discover freshwater fish (including species from the Loire river) as well as tropical fish and reptiles.
